We will be mailing formal invitations in the fall of 2026.
At that point, we will add an RSVP page here. Please expect to RSVP by March 22, 2027.
How and when should I RSVP?
We know traveling internationally is a big undertaking, and for some, having a travel companion can make the experience more comfortable. While plus ones are limited and not guaranteed, we’re happy to talk it through. Please check in with us in advance so we can confirm availability.
Can I bring a plus one?
We’re happy to welcome children to the wedding weekend. We both have fond memories of attending family weddings growing up, and we understand that many guests may be traveling with their families. That said, we ask that this be a thoughtful decision, as our hope is for everyone to be able to fully enjoy the celebration.
If there is enough interest, we’re able to help coordinate an on-site childcare option through our venue during the wedding events. Please reach out to us if this would be helpful so we can plan accordingly.
CAN WE BRING THE LITTLE ONES?
What if I already know I won’t be able to attend?
While formal invitations will be sent closer to the wedding, we understand that some guests may already know they’re unable to join us. If that’s the case, we’d appreciate you reaching out to let us know as early as possible, as it helps us plan thoughtfully for the weekend.
Are all events at the same location?
Is attendance required for all weekend events?
Yes. All wedding weekend events will take place on the estate.
Will transportation be provided to the venue?
No. While we hope you’ll join us for as much of the weekend as you’re able, attendance at each event is completely optional.
Where should I stay?
We are exploring shuttle transportation from the walled city of Lucca to the estate for the wedding day. Additional details will be shared closer to the weekend.
How will I know if I have a room reserved?
We recommend staying inside the walled city of Lucca, where hotels, restaurants, and shops are walkable. Hotel recommendations are listed on the stay page.
Do I need to attend the church ceremony in chicago?
Guests with accommodations reserved on the estate will be notified directly by Lauren or Will via text. If you have not heard from us yet but are curious, send us a note!
Can I attend the church ceremony even if I’m going to Italy?
No. Attendance is completely optional.
