TRAVEL HELP & PLANNING
U.S. passport holders should ensure their passport is valid for at least 3 months beyond their return date, though 6 months is strongly recommended.
Non-U.S. travelers should check entry requirements through the Italian embassy or consulate relevant to their country of residence.
PASSPORT & TRAVEL NOTES
VENUE ADDRESS
Tuscany is well connected and easier to reach than it may seem. Guests traveling from the U.S. will typically connect through a major European hub before arriving in Italy. From there, Lucca is accessible by car or train.
How do I get to italy?
Via di Coselli 77/79 55012 Capannori LU, Italy
#1: Pisa International Airport (PSA)
Closest airport to Lucca.
About 25 minutes from the estate.
Best and easiest option whenever possible
Other Acceptable Airports
#2: Florence Airport (FLR) – About 1 hour away
#3: Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) – 3–4 hours by train
#4: Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) – 3–4 hours by train
Recommended Airports
If you plan to explore Tuscany beyond the wedding weekend, we recommend renting a car. Ride-share services are limited, and taxis can be difficult to find outside city centers. We are planning to arrange shuttle transportation from the walled city of Lucca to the venue for the wedding day itself. If you choose to rent a car, you’ll have the added flexibility of getting around on your own schedule.
Major rental agencies are available at all airports. We recommend booking early to ensure the best availability and rates.
CAR RENTALS
Taxis in and around Lucca can be limited and should be arranged in advance whenever possible. Private drivers are a popular and reliable option, especially for airport transfers or day trips.
